General Sentiment is part of an elite team of Mercenary Ex-Servicemen who reside in the shadows of the Los Angeles Underground. The full contingent is:

General Sentiment (Responsible for monitoring morale)
    Major Improvement (Morale Uplifts)
    Admiral Butterfly (Aesthetics)
Corporal Punishment (Deals with those who lower morale)
Private Practice (deals with those unfortunate enough to have faced Corporal Punishment)
    and finally...
Seaman Staines (added to the team only to provide Murdock-style comedy value at the end of each scene).

I'm shocked you have forgotten Colonel Panic, who has been known to stop computers dead with his amazing multi-lingual skills.

I wonder if this also resolves the magenta-shifting of highlights that I've been experiencing with Canon EOS 1D3 and PowerShot S60 .CR2 files...

Heard a lot of good things about these bags and was thinking of getting one. I have a 12" Powerbook and usually carry an external HDD, Ipod, PDA and a binder and a couple of notebooks. I was looking at the "Wack-o-Phone" or the "Very Busy Man" but not sure which would fit my needs better because I don't want the bag to be bigger than necessary. Does anyone here own these bags?

Or is there any other one you would like to recommend?

    Thanks!

Edit: Also where would be the cheapest place t get these bags?

I've never found the server healthy enough to watch until 48 hours later anyway. Pity they only put the MW'07 onto the ITS. Perhaps they'll do it with the '08 - so it can download in full and the be watched.

    Doug

And yeah I would rather download it myself. The stream for sure will suck rotten eggs. :(

Lol he looks like an old hippy teaching creative writing or something at a csu. He is so dangerous he has to be kept in solidary and the entire cuban inmate population had to jump him and tackle him to subdue him in the 80s prison riots -- because the federal govt wouldnt deal with the cubans if he was still lose. They even had to escort him recently in a Hanibal lector suit at some recent gag trials.

    From http://www.redorbit.com/news/general/183822/heavy_security_set_for_aryan_brotherhood_trial/:

"Carter said defense lawyers could call Tommy Silverstein as a witness but warned the notorious Aryan Brotherhood leader known as "Terrible Tom" would be shackled in court "just like a 'Silence of the Lambs' character."

Silverstein killed a guard in 1983 at Marion federal prison in Illinois after slipping his handcuffs with the help of another gang member and pulling a concealed foot-long knife.

Silverstein, who has also been convicted of killing three other inmates, is the nation's most heavily guarded prisoner, according to prosecutors. He is confined to a special cellblock in the basement of Leavenworth Penitentiary in Kansas.

"He will come out here in chains and sit there in chains," Carter said in a pretrial hearing on Friday."

I suspect the success of Zeus and other botnets that target Windows is due to Windows XP admin accounts being used for day to day computing and possibly, on a much more limited scale, users turning off UAC in admin accounts in Windows Vista/7.

If this new Mac botnet modelled after Zeus does not become as problematic as its Windows counterparts albiet in terms of percentage of user base infected, this will show that much of the malware problems out in the wild are due to users running with elevated privileges and that utilizing an authentication mechanism by default is effective at inhibiting malware. Basically, it will show that the average user is not as helpless as AV software vendors try to make users feel.

But my gut feeling says you are all correct and this is a con.
I'm gonna request my friend to meet him in the city.

If he doesn't have a 32GB iphone sealed, he won't be getting his bargaining chip back.

Agreed, this does sound fishy. Tell your friend that she should bring someone with her when she meets this guy. Also, tell her to check the item before she hands over the other phone. Good luck and keep us informed.

I check Amazon. The 4GB can really only be found with the bundle. You can get a stand alone 250 gig system.

Exactly. I might just break and buy a 250gb or maybe get the Kinect bundle and flip the Kinect on eBay or something. I hate stores.

Unlike some other countries, where loser pays. We have a court system where you don't get penalize for bringing unwarranted lawsuits. Therefore, it gets expensive to mount a defense.

The Library of Congress already rule jb is legal. Try again.

Okay then, it seems like from what I'm hearing I'll go for the Elite. Not thrilled about it being black (I like white stuff, I guess), but I think the HDMI is worth it.

P.S. Does anybody have any idea when the 65nm chips will come out? Because I'm not planning to buy my Xbox until this summer, so I hope they have 65nm chips then.

I just unpacked my 20" iMac last night after work and all I can say is, "OMG, it's big!" You don't really notice it in the store next to all the open space and the other computers, but it's definitely bigger than I expected. But it's SO awesome! Before I even plugged it in, I stuck an extra 1GB of RAM in it and then transferred all my files over from my PowerBook. That's SO slick.

Then I went through all the system updates and played around with some Photoshop and InDesign files and they opened nice and quick and looked gorgeous on the screen.

I also bought an iLugger bag since I'll be using it for DJing on occasion with tomorrow being the first time. I know it's a bit big for that but I wanted to upgrade from my PowerBook and didn't see the need to get a new one until the next major revision. The iMac will tide me over just fine.

It's hard to go back to my now little PowerBook's 15" screen after gazing at the vast amount of real estate on the iMac. Definitely a sweet upgrade.
