I think you're all a bit confused about this piece of news. Localization is nothing new. There are already plenty of localized apps in the store.
What's new is that Apple is adding support for these six new languages in addition to the ones already supported.
Therefore, overall impact on the store and relevant procedures is, at best, minimal.

That's what I was thinking bee7777, posts like this should go in the Mac Help Questions forum, but I dont like bugging mods about every little thing.

Is it possible to put a regular GeForce FX5500 into a Cube? Or do you need a special "mac edition"?

Thanks for the info and links. I haven't played in a while either, but I had the sudden urge :) This site maybe of interest to you: www.gobase.org They have a nice database of pro games.
I've been to gobase.org. I didn't study that much, and was much more interested in reading books and just playing. Maybe if I have the time to really get into it in the future I'll try to analyze pro games. However, looking at them at my current skill level would probably just confuse me. :)

Does this copy the OS as well? I ask because I am getting a Mac mini but want to put a different hd in it. I plan to use my external case to house the new drive and connect it to my Mac. I thought I read that there was something that came with the Mac (so you don't have to buy anything) that would let you copy everything including the os to a new clean drive.

One of my development computers is such Core 2 Duo MacBook @ 2GHz I bought in Feb 2007. I have Snow and SDK 3.2.6 on it and I wonder if its screen is too small for Xcode 4. Is anyone here running latest Xcode on 1280 x 800?

id much rather get a free one than pay for it, dont worry i'm not doing anything illegal so stop being nasty.
If I cheat on my significant other I'm not doing anything illegal. That doesn't mean that it's OK to do so.
I'd rather get a Mac for free too, but that doesn't mean I have so little self-respect I'd lie to get it.

The stock analysts have target prices on Apple as high as $550.
I have absolutely no doubt that will happen, so I am holding my large position in Apple.
A broker can give you suggestions how to buy without a SS#.
Apple stock hasn't done anything this year.Whatever you do don't put all your money in one stock. Wait for Ford to drop a little more because of the recall and then buy their stock instead. I purchased a thousand shares back in 08 when it was $2.08 and now I wish I would of bought more.

It occurs to me that I see all kinds of threads about 'hackin' or upgrading a Mac that is 8 or more years old so that it can run with the latest software.
It's interesting because these machines are still working well enough to want to do this to.
How many threads do you see about PC users wishing to do the same?
Food for thought.

Take it to apple if it's not a jb defect, your iPad is still under warranty. You may be able to get it replaced

I'd say, get the iPad 2. Since I got mine, the only thing I've used my iPhone for is to make calls. I'll definitely be switching to the cheaper AT&T data plan for my phone. My lap top is now permanently anchored to my desk. When the time comes it will be replaced with an iMac.

Can't you just do that in Parallels? Why do you need Boot Camp for simple streaming?
B
I am not 100% on how to use parallels
Basically I just need that one stupid site to stream, so I need to find a way to stream and I wont have to worry about windows ever.

Although not found in the BETA version, I hope they put Rosetta back in. Such a small program which doesn't take up too much space. I don't see why not as snow leopard has Rosetta support.
It may be a small app but its a major stepback for Apple as they just want to kill all PowerPC support, regardless of what the customers want. Anybody not up to date needs to update their app to work on Lion, no exception.

Howdy. I recall reading a terminal option that enables compression of data... but the method is a tad tedious.
Is there a hidden setting, terminal or GUI, that will automatically compress files? Especially for mobile computing where space is more limited, this would be a boon and I could try using my 80GB SSD again to install CS5 and Logic Studio.
Thx!
