I don't know the statistics or aware of the source for the same.
But based on the most recently published Visa Bulletin, if you are from India, the cut-off date for FB2 is 22 Jan 2005. If you are not from India, then please look up the Visa Bulletin at Visa Bulletin for February 2010 (http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_4611.html).
It might take 2 to 3 months for your priority date to become current if you are an Indian Citizen [or chargeable to India].

It looks to me like they made a mistake on the valid dates for the new EAD. That happened to me last year, I received my new EAD card and it was only good for 1.5 months.
I had to mail them the card and after a couple of calls and some headaches they sent me a new EAD card, this time valid for 2 years.

From your message and deployment guide, I understood only Admin Users can install the Silverlight light on his machines.
Is there any way to identify the User [ User from client machine ] has admin rights in Client machine through Javascript. ie., before MS start installing the Silverlight in client machine.

Silverlight can be deployed on networks using something more centralized like group policy. I don't believe average end users can install SL3 without admin priviliges.

I read somewhere that the new memo is effective immediately. So you should consult with your immigration attorney soon. You might be able to take advantage of the new memo and get 6 years of H1b.

Hi,
I am on H1B visa staying in Missouri state and my employer location is the same county. I recently got a project outside Missouri and client worksite is in Arizona. I am expected to travel Monday to Thursday from Missouri to client worksite but not required to move to Arizona. In this case where I am travelling does my employer need to file for LCA amendment? I have come across posts that if you move to a new worksite you might need LCA amendment but not sure in this case where I am travelling every week.
Your quick response would be greatly appreciated.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) is seeking public comment on a proposed federal rule (http://www.federalregister.gov/OFRUpload/OFRData/2010-13991_PI.pdf) that would adjust most fees by 10% for immigration benefit applications and petitions.
USCIS is a fee-based organization with about 90% of its budget coming from fees paid by applicants and petitioners to obtain immigration benefits. First of all congratulations to all those who got their approval in the last couple months. Now comes the big dilemma for some of us. Did anyone tried to switch their jobs, or at least, ditch their current employer? Did anyone switched their employer immediately after the green card approval? I am sailing in this boat. I want to switch my employer ASAP, but is hesitating to do so... as you know there are some obvious reasons later. What are other problems that you think other than getting tons of questions during the citizenship? Appreciate your answers. ;)
Just my opinion. Stay with employer for 6 months - 1 year. Stay in the same profession for atleast 2 years ( i understood that way from Attorney Ron Gotcher )
