    I don't intend to get a second H-1.. The second job that I want to do is just 3-5hrs a week and dont want any sponsorship for it.

    U dont have an option. If you want 2 paid jobs, you need to have 2 H1s. I dont know of any exceptions to this rule.

    How do I get a black border around a box I make using the rectangle tool in Photoshop 6.0? I know there is an easy way to do so, since I see it so often. Did I accidently turn that off, as in, it originally is there, or do I have to toggle something? :q:

    You can find out by calling USCIS. There is thread here teaching tricks to get to talk to a immigration/field officer. If you can do that, you can ask him/her, and may get the answer.

    By saying they wouldn't adjudicate your case becase its PD is not current, I meant they wouldn't approve your case. But they will look at your case. If something is wrong, they'll correct it or send you a RFE, both of which will result in updates. If everything is all right but only your PD is not current, they will "put in suspense" your case, which will result in an update too, and send your case to some on hold shelf. When your PD is current, they'll approve your case.

    In our 485 application, the lawyer put my divorce certificate from my previous marriage in my file but not in my wife's file. According to the 485 instruction, my divorce certificate should be included in my wife's file as initial evidence because she is the derivative applicant.

    Will USCIS deny my wife's 485?

    My OPT started on July 12th, 2006 and I did not apply for my H1-B last year because the advanced degree cap quota was reached even before I got my job. Now, my OPT expired on July11th, 2007. My attorney suggested me to use the 60 days grace period to stay in U.S and get my H1-B Visa stamped in Chennai, India (Because, the 60 days grace period will get over by September 11th, 2007 and there is 19 days gap before my H1-B starts). In the H1-B approval notice it is clearly mentioned that I would attend the Chennai consulate for my stamping. The problem is that, I am not able to find available dates in Chennai consulate for H1-B stamping. Can I attend Delhi or Mumbai consulates? Please suggest me a way to come out of this situation.

    Hi,

    I recently traveled to Canada by land for 1 week . When I went to Canada the canadian authorities did not take my I 94. When I returned from canada, the US officials did not give me a new I 94, will this be a problem ?

    If the travel is less then 30 days to Canada or Mexico you do not need Visa Stamping also. It is called Automatic Visa Revalidation.
